"Games Ground has set the industry ablaze with its inclusive platform, bringing developers of every caliber together alongside our invaluable players and supportive investors. As a seasoned professional, I found the mentoring sessions to be the pinnacle of the event. Whether guiding or being guided, they provided a transformative space to overcome imposter syndrome and glean insights from fellow experts. Games Ground isn't just an event; it's a catalyst for lasting innovation and collaboration in our industry."

"It was excellent to be invited to participate in the first ever Games Ground Berlin last year - the speakers who i shared a panel with were fantastic and the audience were engaged and seemed to appreciate the subject and content too. Additionally, I got the opportunity to connect with some truly unique developers looking at a wide range of titles that would possibly have passed me by without this event. The intimate nature of the event led to great conversations. The ability to engage in mentoring and direct interaction with developers seeking advice from publishers was a really excellent addition to the program too, one that I am very keen to take part in again in 2024!"

This year, Games Ground Berlin hosted international delegations through partnerships with(Cologne) and Arctic Game (Sweden). Cologne was Games Ground's first German regional partner, while Arctic Game (Northern Sweden's gaming hub) was the first partnership with Sweden. The visiting teams participated in Games Ground's Publisher Connect programme, which connected them with potential investors and publishers. The Berlin-Japan connection shone through the Publisher Connect matchmaking event, supported by and organised in collaboration with Spielfabrique, Tugboat Interactive and Japan's iGi Indie Game Incubator and SO-FU programmes. This initiative, supported by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, brought together Berlin and Japanese studios and expanded opportunities for creative and business exchange.

Participating publishers, including Asia-based Marvelous, G-Mode Corporation, Gamera Games, Coreblazer, Justdan International and others, offered European studios the opportunity to engage directly with Japan's game development landscape. This event allowed Berlin-based developers to engage with the Japanese market. Featured Japanese pitching studios included Kei26, VR Game Media, Monoryllis, Sōfu Project, Shirokurohitsuji, ashi, Don Yasa Crew, Kenkoh-Kikoh and CitalesGames.

"The Games Ground Team extends gratitude to all organizations involved, especially iGi and SO-FU, for making this event a true highlight of Games Ground. Together, we're building connections that unite studios, publishers, and ideas across borders, creating new avenues for innovation and collaboration in gaming," said the organisers. In total, Publisher Connect brought together studios from Germany, France, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, Poland, Mali, Peru, Austria, North Macedonia, Sweden, Greece, Malta, Tunisia, Denmark, Slovakia, Netherlands, Turkey, South Africa, Norway, Croatia, Japan, Portugal, Canada, Serbia, Zambia, Cameroon, Czech Republic and more.
